Offering a wide range of Mental Health support for a variety of needs

Evidence-based CBT therapy tailored to your needs and conditions.

Neurodiversity - collaborative space, respecting how a person's mind works, focusing on practical, tailored actions that fit with the individuals unique requirements.

Trauma - helping individuals identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, process painful memories in a safe and structured way, and develop healthier coping strategies. The approach is collaborative and paced according to the person’s readiness, aiming to reduce distress, build resilience, and restore a sense of safety and control in daily life. A safe, structured framework to move from survival mode to reclaiming and recovery.

Depression and low mood - break the cycle by identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, encouraging gradual re-engagement in meaningful activities, and developing practical coping strategies to improve mood and resilience.

Anxiety disorders - helps individuals identify distorted thoughts—such as overestimating danger or underestimating coping ability—and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. CBT empowers people to break the cycle of anxiety, reduce avoidance behaviours, and build long-term resilience.

Addiction - Supporting with breaking the cycle, working on triggers and utilsing healthier coping strategies.

We are committed to supporting individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, recognising that each person’s experience is unique. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space where people can explore their thoughts and feelings, access tailored resources, and receive compassionate guidance. By addressing emotional, psychological, and social well-being, we aim to empower individuals to build resilience, improve quality of life, and feel supported at every stage of their journey.

Client Centred Care

Our dedicated therapists collaborate with you to build personalised CBT plans that address your unique mental health concerns and life goals. This client-centred approach prioritises your empowerment and recovery through meaningful, evidence-based interventions.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is an active, structured approach to mental wellbeing. Unlike traditional therapies that focus deeply on past history, CBT focuses on your present life and provides practical tools to help you move forward.

Every appointment lasts 50 minutes and follows a collaborative, predictable structure so you always know what to expect.

Wide range of conditions

Mind & Action offers specialised CBT therapy addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety disorders, depression, low mood states, trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), neurodiversity, and eating disorders, aiding recovery and resilience.

Neurodiversity - refers to the natural differences in how people think, learn, process information, and experience the world. It can present in many ways — for example, someone might have exceptional attention to detail but find social interactions challenging, or they may think in highly creative, non-linear ways while struggling with traditional learning methods. These variations can be linked to conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or dyspraxia, but neurodiversity isn’t limited to diagnoses; it’s simply a recognition that there’s no single “right” way for a brain to work.

Trauma - understood as a deeply distressing or disturbing experience that can significantly shape a person’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Anxiety disorders - a condition where unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours reinforce feelings of fear, worry, or unease.

Depression and low mood - understood as the result of a cycle between negative thoughts, difficult emotions, and unhelpful behaviours. When someone feels low, they may interpret situations more negatively, withdraw from activities, and lose motivation, which in turn reinforces their low mood.
